A Little Emotional Explosion

You guys know how I feel about immunizations, right? Oh, in case I’ve just not been clear enough, I think they are one of the true miracles of modern medicine. They save lives. My kids have not only had all their shots, they’ve had some “bonus” jabs as well. (Like when we moved to the UK and had to repeat certain ones to get “on schedule” or when Eva accidentally got a shot meant for Zoe. Oops!) I believe, to the bottom of my soul in vaccination.

I’ve even written publicly about it. Not too long ago Parenting magazine asked me to comment on Andrew Wakefield, the “doctor” who is responsible for the MMR-autism scare. Yet, despite all this, there is a part of me that has held back, that hasn’t really said honestly what is on my mind. I think many pediatricians are guilty of exactly this: we all immunize our own kids but we don’t want to alienate the families that don’t, so we sort of bite our lips and think our thoughts and do our best to care for those families too. Because our true loyalty goes to that child, the one who’s been put in harm’s way (and placed others there by default) by his well-meaning yet misguided parents. But this week my sister sent me a link to an article by Dr. Michelle Au, a physician who is also an author (we’re a small club—welcome Dr. Au!). You can read it yourself here but the gist is, never mind what you choose to believe about vaccines, when you don’t vaccinate your child, it makes us deeply angry. It means that your child and other children are put at risk, might possibly die, because of a lot of scare mongering and celebrity bigmouths and organizations aimed at derailing one of the greatest advancements in medicine ever. And to those parents and “movements” who have accused doctors of being engaged in some great conspiracy aimed at ruining the lives of innocent children, shut your mouth. How dare you. I don’t do this job because I have some grand ulterior motive; I do it because I love taking care of children and want them to have the happiest, healthiest lives possible.

Anyway, I can’t let myself get too worked up over this. I’ll let you read the article yourself. But I want you to know a few things: I don’t know a single pediatrician who has not chosen to vaccinate his or her children, on the recommended combination shot regimen. My kids are fully vaccinated and then some (they got all the US and UK shots including meningitis and chicken pox). I have seen children die from vaccine preventable illness. And I believe in the scientific community’s conclusion that vaccines do not cause autism or immune problems or hairy upper lips or whatever nonsense is out there.

Yes, I cried when Eva got her first set of shots. Because it hurt her. But I got over it. Because it was the right thing to do. And thank you, Dr. Au, for being brave enough to say what I wasn’t: if you accuse me of somehow purposefully misguiding families, it feels like a punch in the gut. In fact, I like what this lady has to say so much that I bought her book. And as soon as I finish “Go the F(*K to Sleep,” I’ll be digging in.

Not all pediatricians vaccinate their kids… I purposefully chose one that did NOT vax their kid. Are you being honest about not knowing a single pediatrician that doesn’t vax or do you not know that many pediatricians?

If my children were your patients and I asked you what are the ingredients in the vaccine, could you tell me? Could you tell me if I should be concerned about shedding? If you can, kudos to you!

It’s been my experience that lots of doctors don’t know much about the pharmaceuticals they push onto their patients.

Who’s running your practice? You or the Pharma company?

What about the children that have died from the vaccines? Have you seen those kids or are the just written off as coincidental?

Parents have the right to decide whether or not their child should be injected w live viruses, heavy metals, carcinogens and animal by products. Personally I would much rather the chicken pox for my children and that is my right as a parent. It’s a shame that doctor think it is their place to manipulate and scare parental into vaccinating. Instead they should be handing them the inserts and fully informing them.

Get off your high horse.

I ask you Dr. Lara - how much time have you spent studying vaccines? Really reading about them, the studies, the VAERS reports, the background, the history, the manufacturing process, the statistics showing the incidence of disease and death before and after? I am guessing next to none other than what you were taught in school. I personally know probably 1500 people who’s children have been adversely affected by vaccines. I am an administrator of a group of people, most of whom have vaccine injured children. Is it OK with you that they have sacrificed their children for you? I suggest you step out of your JAMA materials for a minute and read some real life data and get off your soap box. There are almost 500,000 VAERS reports today and the CDC estimates that only 1% of injuries are reported. So YOU shut your mouth.

Good Lord. It is a very good thing you are not our physician then! We live in the UK and thank God for that every single day. You see, we Brits do not have mandatory vaccines, being a true democracy.

Our family has not vaccinated for 16 years, since a real paediatrician in an emergency room identified our baby son’s adverse reaction to - guess what?! - yep, a vaccine series. Four of us in this household, three are partly vaccinated and one is completely unvaccinated. The stuff that your nightmares are made of, ‘Doctor’ Zibner.

Furthermore, we have the most disgustingly healthy children now, no thanks to you and your ilk. Our doctor, on the other hand, is supportive, informative, compassionate and professional, helping me research vaccines a decade and a half ago. How sad that you, in your profession, can choose to be so intolerant and ignorant of the facts.

Vaccines are full of toxins, are not a one-size-fits-all and most of the diseases they ‘protect’ against are perfectly benign in otherwise healthy children. I can personally point to several families in our vicinity whose vaccinated children have succumbed to the illnesses they were vaccinated against - including whooping cough, measles, mumps and rubella. Mine, however, have not caught these illnesses, despite being exposed. So which children are healthier, ‘Doctor’?

I think you will find that there has not been one study on the efficacy of vaccinations. And there has definitely been no study, or assessment, on the dangers and reactions both short- and long-term of multiple vaccinations.

Statistics clearly show that childhood diseases were on the wane BEFORE vaccinations were introduced. In some cases such as the smallpox vaccine, they had to withdraw it because the incidence of smallpox skyrocketed (as well as other horrendous side-effects) after the introduction of the smallpox vaccine.

As a medicine person you should be logical, methodical, tactful and pragmatic rather than emotional. You should do your homework and have proper data at your disposal before you go off on a rant against well-informed parents who choose not to believe the hype and propaganda spawned by pharmaceutical companies who fund most (if not all) medical courses and research and skew results to suit their bottom line. And there are plenty of examples of this!

And why should it make you “deeply angry” if people don’t vaccinate their children? Because in your words your loyalty goes to that child. And who are you to commit hubris and believe you are responsible for the world’s children? In case you had forgotten, parents are responsible for their own children. A physician is a secondary if not tertiary consideration and in some cases luxury. Stop trying to play god.

As for Paul Offitt, most people know his ties to pharmaceutical companies, so his opinion is by definition biased. And if he wants to prove he is right, he should submit himself to the numerous vaccinations all in one go that he so brazenly claims are harmless given to babies!

I treat children in my clinic, children who were healthy before they had vaccines injected into them. I KNOW from personal experience and observing numerous patients the damage vaccines can do! And you know what? I don’t get paid by any pharmaceutical company directly or indirectly to push their concoctions on unsuspecting and trusting patients.

I suggest you do some unbiased and unemotional research… you may be surprised what you learn!

First, of course you are mad. I’d be mad too if people started to question the very thing that brought in at least 50% of my monthly practice income…..

Second, I will start worrying about other peoples kids when they start worrying about mine. The same people who decry “get your kid vaccinated to save others” still bring their sick kids out to playgrounds, grocery stores, etc. They clearly think getting vaccinated puts you in a bubble.

And this whole mythical herd immunity crap has got to stop. Most adults are not vaccinated, so does that mean herd immunity only works among children?

Dr. Zibners,

Thank you for speaking out in favor of vaccines. I believe that when doctors do not correct misinformation from anti-vaccinationists or when they do not speak strongly about the safety and effectiveness of vaccines, parents believe that their fears or the fear-mongering they have heard may be accurate. Nothing could be farther than the truth. Millions of children receive vaccines every day with no ill-effects while no children become ill with smallpox. Meanwhile, vaccines are stringently regulated and studied. These real facts are what parents need to hear—even vaccinating parents.

I see you have struck a nerve with non-vaccinating parents already. Good. That means you are being successful and that they are suffering guilt from their decisions to make their children and their neighbors vulnerable to disease. More non-vaccinating parents ought to feel such guilt. We will see if more show up.

To be scientifically illiterate and a believer in conspiracy theories is one thing. To attack the motives of good people who have devoted their lives to improving childrens’ health is quite another. The audacity and hubris I see from antivaccinationists is always enough to leave me frustrated and angry. The best way to deal with this, of course, is to continue to honor the science, follow the track that is based in evidence and not pseudoscience, and continue to advocate for the importance of life-saving vaccines, especially in the face of those that would rather we see more small coffins carried to the grave because they cannot admit their own lack of education, lack of social responsibility, or virulent lack of integrity. I have been a member of Nancy’s group for a long time and I’m glad she asked us to read this article. I have learned so much about how they are trying to harm our children with vaccines!! I never knew how they are out to get us and manipulate us all by hurting our children and taking our money and having thier fun controlling the population through vaccines that make us diseased and sick. The evidence for vaccines is bought and made up and manipulated by sick people! And doctors will sell it to you because they don’t know better. I may not have a fancy degree, but I’ve done my research and I know enough not to let any vaccines near my children! Doctors clearly don’t know anything about vaccines. EVERYONE should know that. Alsothe medical community needs to fully inform their patients, every parent has the right to know the ingredients in vaccines. However in my experience the 6 different pediatricians we have gone to have all failed miserably in the ingredient department. They choose to ignore the manufacturing inserts much to the detriment of their patients.

Thank you Dr. Zibners for this article which I see is almost 3 months old, but for whatever reason being bombarded by illogical conspiracy theorists who feel it’s their agenda to take down the big bad invisible PHARM overlords. Goes to show you how anti-vaccinators are continuously stuck in the past, stick to out-dated and disproven ‘research’ and will always lag and lack in the scientific community.
I too have seen children suffer unnecessarily and/or die from vaccine preventable illness. We need to look no further than our neighbors in third world countries to understand the affect that anti-vaccinators can have if they indeed continue promoting their harmful message.

Oh no you don’t. No way you’re going to start flinging the developing world around as an excuse for mass vaccination. What do you know about the ‘third world’ and its needs? Read the WHO site page for page and you will see their recommendations are breastfeeding and clean water for the control of infectious diseases. Did you know that thanks to companies like Nestle we now have breastfeeding rates as low as 1% in countries like Djibouti? Do you even know where Djibouti is? That’s 99% of infants fed dirty water and formula in dirty bottles. Africa has been bombarded with polio vaccines since the 1950s. Polio is still rampant. Polio is rampant elsewhere too. Public Health Stats for Lebanon show zero for polio and then dozens under infantile paralysis. How stupid are you, for goodness’ sake?

I grew up in rural West Africa in the 1960s. I had all the childhood illnesses. I was treated by a good and honourable doctor who prescribed things like Vitamin A and bedrest for measles, bonebroth and bedrest for polio, fluids and bedrest for the ‘flu. Would you even know to do that or do you chuck anti pyretics at every paediatric case that comes your way? You think parents don’t know that the 3rd leading cause of death in the US is from prescribed treatments? In Europe it is the 5th leading cause of death so we’re not too far behind you.

You are supposed to be in the caring profession, you are doctors. You are supposed to be helping us care for our children. You should listen when we tell you that something is wrong. Shame on you. From your post it is apparent to me you know far less about vaccines than I do - and I am not a doctor. However I have read all the vaccine inserts, I have read the MSDS for each vaccine, I have read the underlying studies for the vaccines. You show me a single vaccine safety study that uses a control group with a fully benign placebo. Just one. I have looked for 16 years and not found one. Help me out and then I will concede that perhaps, just perhaps, there is something slightly scientific about the art of vaccination.

Thank goodness some of us have had the immense good fortune to find compassionate and caring physicians who will work with us and not call us names, ridicule our fears and worries and tell us to suck it up and get on with it.

I can’t speak for anyone else, only for my boy, because he is too young to speak out for himself. I sat on your side of the fence. I wholeheartedly believed in vaccines. I snidely remarked that parents who did not vaccinate were selfish and neglectful. That side of the fence was comfortable and cozy. Then, the unspeakable happened to my sweet baby boy.

Vaccine induced encephalopathy. Then, suddenly, I was labeled as ‘crazy’ or ‘antivaccine nutjob.’ When really, all I want to do is protect my boy. And before anybody says it can’t happen or it didn’t happen, look at the vaccine inserts. Encephalopathy is a listed possible side effect.

Later, we found out that my son is allergic to many proteins in the vaccines. Personally, I don’t think that is a coincidence. But let’s say he had those allergies before his vaccines. Why was it assumed safe for him? Oh, yes. Because in the medical community, it is perfectly acceptable that some children are harmed for the good of the society as a whole. When my child was injured, in the eyes of society, his health no longer mattered. He only mattered when he was susceptible to diseases. Do you think I wake up every morning and say, “Good job, Mama! You saved the world by throwing your child under the bus.”

Please, if you have children, look them in the eyes. Know that I love my child as much as you love yours. My child is deserving of love and protection in this world, too. The vaccines did just the opposite for him…and I’m the one who held him down while the nurses gave him 5 injections. I’m the one who held him when he wouldn’t wake up. I’m the one who prayed when he wouldn’t eat. I’m the one who cried over him in the ER. So, please, understand that while you feel your anger is justified, so are MY decisions for MY child.

Dr. Zibner, I don’t doubt you believe in vaccination to the bottom of your soul. What, then, to the bottom of your soul, do you believe was the motivation when, the year after the introduction of the polio vaccine, the CDC changed the diagnostic parameters of polio, such that only as few as one-third of the cases of paralytic polio that would have been reported previously would thenceforth be reported?

In the same breath they also changed the definition of a polio epidemic, such that almost as few as half of the outbreaks that previously would have been labeled epidemic would thenceforth be labeled as such.

Neither of these significant changes were announced to the public in subsequent reporting of decreases in paralytic polio and polio epidemics. To the bottom of my soul, I believe such actions are more akin to parlour tricks than oversight of public health, and these are but two of a Pandora’s box of deceptive practices.

The reason that AVers make me angry is because they and their cohorts, are among the last remaining dregs of humanity keeping us from claiming that the enlightenment was not simply a publicity stunt. When they finally begin to use the rational portions of their brains, we will be one step closer to a civilization. Reading the comments from parents against vaccines posted here reveals a very angry bunch. All they have is name-calling and false claims. You all appear very delusional.

Sorry guys, I know you believe with all your heart that vaccines are EVIL, but you are clearly nuts. I think I’ll go with the doctors on this one. Thanks for opening my eyes to a realm of crazy that I thought was limited to just one wacky friend. I was considering exploring the other side, but now I know I don’t have to waste my time.

Unfortunately your eyes are still closed like too many of the unenlightened masses. You may feel like it is all beginning, but that is simply not the case. Once Bill Gates’ concoctions of evil enter your child’s body, she will be overcome by immune-suppressing chemicals that are meant to weaken her. Did you also know that vaccines contain RFID chips meant to control the brain? My husband has done extensive research and has discovered that these chips are part of the new world order plan to become switched on just as the masses begin to die off. The plan, it seems, is to kill off as many of us as they can, and for those who are somehow able to survive, they will become the slave class. And then they will have the world to themselves. The humans will have built up the cities and manufactured most of what the reptile ruling class needs while the robot-people-slaves go about the work of serving for all eternity. Did you think Planet of the Apes was fiction? Just exchange Apes for Reptile-humanoids, and you get the picture.

Sure, you call us crazy now. Just wait until your daughter is a member of Pindar’s harem.

It’s very unfortunate that you are limiting your decision to opnions and this thread. Unlike you and the other provaxxers, our decision is based off a multitude of medical studies, the CDC, various and countless doctors as well as personal experience. You are doing your unborn child an injustice by not researching vaccines independantly of anyone else. No one will love your child as much as you and no one is as vested or invested as you.

From Michael Belkin:

My daughter Lyla Rose Belkin died on September 16, 1998 at the age of five weeks, about 15 hours after receiving her second Hepatitis B vaccine booster shot. Lyla was a lively, alert five-week-old baby when I last held her in my arms. Little did I imagine as she gazed intently into my eyes with all the innocence and wonder of a newborn child that she would die that night. She was never ill before receiving the Hepatitis B shot that afternoon. At her final feeding that night, she was extremely agitated, noisy and feisty—and then she fell asleep suddenly and stopped breathing. The autopsy ruled out choking, The NY Medical Examiner ruled her death Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

But the NY Medical Examiner (Dr. Persechino) neglected to mention Lyta’s swollen brain or the hepatitis B vaccine in the autopsy report. The coroner spoke to my wife and I and our pediatrician (Dr. Zullo) the day of the autopsy and clearly stated that her brain was swollen. The pediatrician Dr. Zullo’s notes of that conversation are “brain swollen ... not sure cause yet ... could not see how recombinant vaccine could cause problem.”

SIDS is a diagnosis of exclusion .. “it wasn’t this, it wasn’t that, everything has been ruled out and we don’t know what it was.” A swollen brain is not SIDS. Through conversations with other experienced pathologists, I subsequently discovered that brain inflammation is a classic adverse reaction to vaccination (with any vaccine) in the medical literature.

I set out to do an investigation of the hepatitis B vaccine and attended a workshop at the National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Medicine on “Neo-Natal Death and the Hepatitis B Vaccine,” the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) February’ meeting and a debate in New Hampshire between the Chairman of the ACIP Dr. Modlin and Dr. Waisbren about the safety of the hepatitis B vaccine. I also obtained the entire Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) database on hepatitis B vaccine adverse reactions and have investigated it thoroughly.

These are my conclusions, supported by the following pages of text and analysis that are too lengthy to present in entirety in the time allotted for this appearance. Please read the results of my investigation, as it will help you understand the magnitude of the hepatitis B vaccine issue.

Newborn babies are not at risk of contracting the hepatitis B disease unless their mother is infected Hepatitis B is primarily a disease of junkies, gays, and promiscuous heterosexuals
The vaccine is given to babies because health authorities couldn’t get those risk groups to take the vaccine
Adverse reactions out-number cases of the disease in government statistics
Nothing is being done to investigate those adverse reactions
Those adverse reactions include numerous deaths, convsions and arthritic conditions that occur within days after hepatitis B vaccination
The CDC is misrepresenting hypothetical, estimated disease statistics as real cases of the disease
The ACIP is recommending new vaccines for premature infants without having scientific studies proving it is safe
The US vaccine recommendation process is hopelessly compromised by conflicts of interest with vaccine manufacturers, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC

Conclusion: If (as with the recently-recommended rotavirus vaccine) hepatitis B vaccine was recommended in 1991 without scientific proof that it was safe in a broad sample of racially and genetically diverse babies less than 48 hours old before they established that recommendation, then the CDC has been experimenting on babies like guinea pigs and this Committee should suspend that universal immunization policy.

Eden got her 4 month shots yesterday…seven immunizations in all, three injections. These were the same ones that she had at two months without any issues. Well, we had a horrible scare and our little one is still recouping from the mess. This was already one of those subjects with us that we questioned if we were doing the right thing, at least it was for me, but we decided to go ahead with them.

Eden was bubbly and playful at her well baby check up – She is 12 lbs and 24 1/2 inches long – a bit under weight for her age and height, but she is just a small eater and as long as she keeps growing she is fine per her pediatrician. She was even giving her doctor smiles left and right and was doing great overall while being poked and prodded…she did not even cry or whine once.

However, within 4 hours of getting her shots she was a completely different baby. She was screaming a very high pitched shrill cry and nothing we could do would comfort her. Actually, the more we tried the worse it got because she acted as though it hurt her to just be touched. She turned purple when I tried changing her diaper because she was screaming so hard and refused to eat.

After about 45 minutes of this I called the advice nurse at Kaiser. They told us to give her Tylenol and to put cold rags on her legs and to call back in 30 minutes if she was not better. The cold rags seemed to calm her down, so I did not call back. She sort of just did not want us to touch her so I gave her a warm bath to try and relax her to see if that would help. She managed that and went to sleep after finally taking a bottle.

This morning she was burning. Her leg was swollen and one of the injection sites was all red and inflamed, like a small bug bite. She had a 101.5 fever so I called the advice nurse again. This nurse acknowledged it was a reaction right away and told us that most likely the next round of shots would make it worse so we needed to talk to Eden’s doctor about either holding off, splitting them up, or just not doing them now then she told me to give her more Tylenol and to put cool rags on her head until her doctor called us back. We did this and I even took her into the shower with me and put her under the cool water.

At about noon her doctor called. I told her everything that had happened and she kept reassuring me that it was not a reaction. I told her what the nurse said and she said that reactions like that are rare. I quickly pointed out to her that she had seen Eden a few hours before all this started and that she was fine, so her telling me it was something else made no sense at all. She reluctantly agreed and told me to only give her Tylenol on demand when Eden was really bad because that too could build up in her system and cause problems if she was already being susceptible to having reactions. She agreed that we needed to keep cool rags on her and then asked if I was scared to continue her vaccinations. I told her I was and that we would be doing research and talk with her at her 6 month appointment about our options.

Chepe and I are thinking we are going to do what they used to do in Japan and hold off on all further vaccines until she is at least 2 years old. I spoke with a good friend of mine in NC whose daughter had a severe 18 month long reaction 10 years ago and she gave me lots of info and resources, so we are doing our homework on this touchy subject. I would just never forgive myself if we ignored this warning and the next time around she does not bounce back as soon from a reaction. I have spent all day trying to keep Eden comfy, working on getting her fever down, and doing research when she asleep…which seems like way more then usual since she is still not feeling well.

If it is not one thing it is another in the Morales household apparently!

To update — Tamara and Chepe have since decided to become 100% vaccine free. They based this decision on “huge amounts of time spent researching the facts, numbers, ingredients, diseases, reactions, benefits of natural immunity and everything else vaccine related that they could get their hands on.”

Julia was born a happy and healthy baby on 12-28-05, weighing in at 8# 2oz (SMALL in comparison to her older brother, a 10 pounder!)…..It was a scheduled C section and after a few days we all went home. Life went on. Yes, two young kids was stressful, but I had NO IDEA what God was preparing me for. Julia never really slept through the night until she was 9 months old. At NINE months……REPRIEVE!!!!!! God was Good!

Julia went in for her 12 month appointment the day after Christmas – 12-26-06….yes, TWO days before her first birthday. I was told by the nurse that we could not do her vaccines that day, as it was two days too soon. I looked at her with a face of irritation. I had taken the day off of work (I am a veterinarian)….and I KNEW that two days would not make a difference, so I asked to speak with the Doctor about the issue. I spoke to him. He said we had a “window” and that it was likely OK to give her her vaccines. She got the proquad – MMR-V- from Merck (taken off the market six months later), and a hepatitis vaccine. She screamed and cried as to be expected – her big brother rubbing her head the whole time telling her it was to keep her “safe”. I will NEVER forget this day.

Eight days later, January 4th, 2007, Julia was sent home from daycare – not acting right, whining, inconsolable, febrile, etc…I was working a 12 hour shift that day, so my now ex husband picked her up from daycare……….fed her dinner, bathed her, and put her to bed at 7pm. I got home at 830pm. Actually a little grateful that she finally got some sleep. Little did I know what was coming.

January 5th, 2007. I was in the shower, getting ready for work, and my then husband went to get Julia ready for daycare. He came running in from her room with her in his arms. He was SCREAMING……I got out of the shower, soaking wet and naked, and looked at our baby. I thought she was dead. Blue. Cold. Head arched to one side. No response to her name. Covered in feces and vomit. We put her on the bed and saw that she was breathing very shallow breaths……I called 911. Then the “circus” began.

Long story short………….she was life flighted to Miami Children’s Hospital. She was in PICU unconscious for about 10 days. She was then transported to the Neurology Ward, and stayed for a total of about a month. Diagnosis – encephalitis. Severe temporal sclerosis over the right side of her brain. More areas of “less” severe injury in both frontal lobes of her brain. When she left, she was SEVERELY left sided hemiplegic, was aspirating food unless thickened, was unable to sit up or roll over, was nonverbal, and screamed and cried 22 out of 24 hours a day. Back again to NOT SLEEPING for over three years.

I asked about the vaccine. I am a Doctor. I have seen what vaccines have done to animals. I have CAUSED the reactions that have happened to animals. I KNEW. BUT, every Dr, except one, told me to not even consider the VICP. I went with my gut, and the words of my ONE pediatric supporter, and I filed.

Over four years later – we got her settlement. The money – whatever – grateful to have it, as her expenses are unexplainable. BUT I JUST WANT MY DAUGHTER BACK. I would pay back 100 times what we got to have my beautiful Julia the way she was meant to be. Don’t get me wrong – we love her as she is. However, some days it is just overwhelming. She has improved greatly, and is functioning at an (average) two year level (still no functional communication) – though will be six in December 2011……

So, we got a settlement. I lost my husband and the kids lost their father who,( in my opinion – there are always two sides to every story), ran over 2000 miles away and sees his kids two to three times a year for a few hours. I lost my house to foreclosure. I lost my father who just didn’t understand why I couldn’t “get over it and move on” and now doesn’t speak to me. I have lost many friends. My son has lost his normal life – now being a caregiver for his sister at only 8 years old (by his own choosing – we don’t encourage that role – he is 8). And MOST IMPORTANTLY, my daughter lost who she could have become. Again, who she is now – she is amazing – and she will change MANY people’s lives – so, I can live with that – but, wow, right now it is hard.

I met a man – single, never married, no kids, no baggage………….he stepped into our lives and has taken over the “dad” role like no other and I am forever grateful. How would I do this without him. Thank you Shawn for taking this on. I do not understand the reasons, but am thankful for it.

A family in the UK recently lost their baby boy, “22 months at death”, following post vaccination adverse drug interactions. Up until that point their baby had received the full slate of injections typical for his age group. At 6 months he began to experience ongoing convulsions/seizures. His neurologist then chose to prescribe him a set of experimental drugs (none of which are officially licensed for use in infants): ‘Sodium Valproate’ or ‘Valproic Acid’ (Anticonvulsant, antipsychotic – anti-seizure medication), ‘Keppra’ or ‘Levetiracetam’ (antiepileptic drug) & ‘Clobazam’ (benzodiazepine type anticonvulsant) – ostensibly to quell his seizures. Initially he was put on a combination of Sodium Valproate & Keppra. A decision was then made to switch Keppra for Clobazam, as, per the neurologist in charge, “It was clearly making him worse.” There was speculation of possible Dravet’s Syndrome (severe myoclonic epilepsy in infancy). At no time during this phase were the parents ever consulted or briefed on the authorization of these drug combinations given to their child.

There is ample scientific literature pointing to an escalation of symptoms once specific drugs are combined. The father subsequently learned, “Clobazam makes the Sodium valproate over react by something like 70%”. Further, ‘When clobazam is added to a therapy regimen that includes valproic acid, the patient should be closely followed for possible adverse drug reactions caused by elevated valproic acid serum concentrations, and monitoring of valproate serum levels should be considered’ [see here.]…’Valproic acid may cause serious or life threatening damage to the liver…greatest in children who are younger than 2 years of age and in people who are taking more than one medication to prevent seizures…any condition that affects the ability to think, learn, and understand.’ [see here.]

The parents, now estranged, marked the date of what would have been their child’s 2nd birthday in solemn remembrance of their son; born August 4, 2009, died June 21, 2011. The father duly noted “Each time he was given shots he seemed to have seizures…overdose symptoms were heart block, coma, death.” Max, may you rest in peace.

Note: One way fair justice will be served in this instance is directly through the courts. Whether this child died prematurely due to gross incompetence or well-meaning ignorance, a financial settlement will be reached at some point. However one glaring factor remains that we must consider – a family put their trust in an Industry sworn to protect the innocent. And yet they were not briefed on the synergistic nature of anti-seizure medications when combined. Nor were they prepared for the seizures which suddenly gripped their child at 6 months, the result of vaccine induced Encephalitis, inflammation of the brain & meninges (Meningoencephalitis) manifesting as ‘diffuse and/or focal neuropsychological dysfunction‘.
Whose responsibility was this? Certainly most parents aren’t versed in the hard science & reasoning behind vaccine methodology. Who can blame them, given these hurried modern times? But if that is the case, then isn’t it the obligation of doctors making these pivotal life-changing decisions to have all the facts straight beforehand? This child is unfortunately gone. But the message still resonates and his legacy will hopefully serve as a burning light of truth for parents throughout our communities, that it is now time to step back and rethink the entire concept of “herd immunity”.

Those cut and pasted stories look like they came from the blog of a woman who raises money in order to put up billboards advertising the exemptions to vaccine requirements. (In fact, they did. If you google them, they are word-for-word plagiarized.) Yep, a blog. Anti-vaccinators will not understand that a blog does not gain them credibility. Blogs and anecdotes to them are evidence, and they do not get how rigorous actual studies are. They do not understand that their efforts to deflect the label “batpoop crazy” only make them appear all the more knee-deep in nocturnal flying animal excrement.

I think it is crazy to allow your child to become injected with poisonous neurotixic non-herbal chemicals in the name of making her a cow for the herd.

I think it is crazy to allow your child to have her brain melted by computer chips injected straight into her blood stream just so she can become the concubine of the reptillian overlords.

to anonymous and not anonymous, My story of my children were NOT just a copy paste from a blog. My children have all suffered vaccine injuries. here is my sons’ stories NOT COPIED AND PASTED:

Jameson was born January 3 2008, 7lbs 12 oz. He was a “normal” baby got his Hep B and Vitamin K shot before leaving the hospital. At 2 months he recieved his vaccines like normal, the cdc schedule, at 4 months we realized His head was growing really rapidly, so the doctor set him up an MRI to check out what was going on and also an EEG to make sure his “shaking spells” were just that and not epilepsy. He finally got the MRI done at 5 months old. after his 4 month vaccines. The MRI showed Jameson had brain damage. A few spots were found in the his frontal lobes, a HUGE mass of scar tissue was found in his occipital lobes and between 5-10 more spots were found throughout the rest of his brain. Now after each vaccination, Jameson would SCREAM for hours, and the doctors would tell us, he is ok. At 2 months Jameson was admitted into the hospital for choking on his own vomit. Yes spitting up is normal, projectile vomiting isn’t. We found jameson had GERD, well Gerd is hereditary as well. NO ONE in my husband or my families have this. SO ok we went with it, putting him on the highest amount of zantac that he could be on for his age. It didn’t help. Then we did a compounded Prilosec OTC for him that seemed to curb some of it. Jameson would run extremely high fevers after his vaccines. and each time it just seemed to only get worse, but the doctor said there was NO correlation between the 2. Ok so we kept vaccinating him. @15 months he recieved his shots yet again, but after that he just wasn’t the same, he almost immediately started banging his head, screaming for no reason, but he seemed to be more of a daredevil than most kids. By 18 months life with Jameson became really hard. He wasn’t responding to his name. He was verbal, had a HIGHER THAN NORM vocabulary. We had to start locking everything. We put locks on the fridge, oven, dryer, took cabinet handles off so he wouldn’t use them as ladders anymore… but jameson was too smart for these things. He soon figured them out. Then one day he started smearing his poop everywhere and even eating it. The doctor told us it was just a phase, he would soon get over it, 1 year later my child was still eating poop and smearing it all over himself, toys, walls, doors, floors, anything he could reach. I started reaching out to other doctors, psychologists, anyone who could help us with our growing concern for our son. YES by the age of 2 jameson had OVER 150 word vocabulary. That sounds all great, WOO he says alot of different words even uses them in the correct context. However, We soon found out Jameson really didn’t understand HALF of what he was saying or being said to him. Jameson was diagnosed 1 yr ago with asperger’s (a higher functioning form of autism) he is 3 now, and yes he still smears his poop, and his new neurologist identified the cause of the scar tissue on his brain as ENCEPHILITIS caused by, you got it vaccines… now for my oldest son’s story..

Nathan was born June 15,2005 Nathan was 7lbs 11 oz full term baby. He too was healthy, he recieved his hep b and vitamin K shot too. Less than 1 week later Nathan was being LIFEFLIGHTED to St. Louis to the children’s hospital. The doctors didn’t know what was wrong with him, he quit breathing, they looked at his tiny little heart and told me his heart was enlarged and he had leaky valves. Nathan would have to undergo a heart transplant or open heart surgery. We finally got to the childrens hospital and he had 10 doctors and 2 nurses. the majority of the doctors were infectious diseases doctors. They ran EVERY TEST KNOWN TO MAN even sent some specimines to the CDC for testing, NO ONE could give me an answer as to why my little boy’s heart didn’t want to beat anymore. I was scared out of my mind. I didn’t really know this little boy, but he was my world. I was SO close to him and I loved him more than life itself. Nathan was released from the hospital a month later with an apnea monitor (for my peace of mind) he later recieved his 2 month vaccines and then 4 months, then 6 months… after the 2 month vaccines… Nathan screamed all the time.. NOT CRIED SCREAMED. He didn’t want to be touched or held, nothing seemed to soothe this baby, He screamed everyday NON STOP until he finally pretty much passed out. The doctors told me they thought he might be colic.. OK yeah, symptoms BEGAN day of 2 month shots and lasted until he was about 9 months old. Then nathan would have night terrors so terribly he would scream so long and so hard he would pass out… this still occures when he gets hurt. Nathan just seemed to be content being by himself. Nathan was also diagnosed with asperger’s feb of last year. Nathan too hit all of his milestones on time… but the illnesses that came after vaccines were terrible, even still anytime nathan gets sick his fever spikes. 103.9 just about everytime… this has been happening since 6 months old shortly after vaccines (within days of the vaccines)Nathan too had developed encephilitis DUE TO VACCINES… is there an underlying condition causing my children’s bodies to react in this manner?? Probably, but the vaccines are not tested on everytype of genetic condition, metabolic disorder, mitochondrial disorder… yes this is their story, I’m sure in a few months if this is post is still getting hits, when we have my daughter 15 months now diagnosed her story will be added as well. so to you who say “These are just scare tactics” think again. You and the doctors don’t know really how your child’s body will react to vaccines, not every case (genetic condition, immune disorder, allergy etc….) was thoroughly evaluated. I almost lost my first son to this “unknown” virus I would hate you anyone else to go thru the same things I have with my children. BUT it wasn’t until here recently we discovered it was the vaccines that did damage to all of them. So my daughter was vaxxed from birth to 6 months… so far 12 months she is already showing delays, for 15 month old she is really delayed. She might not have autism, she might be mildly retarded… I know NO parent wants this for their children. So for those of you who think I’m hurting my children by NOT vaccinating them any more, maybe you need to look at how YOUR vaccinated child might spread their vaccine viruses to others like my kids.
